Pre-contractual information
concerning online sales
(hereinafter referred to as “GLS-ONE”) provided by
General Logistics Systems Austria GmbH
(hereinafter referred to as “GLS”)
Please observe the following information:
1. The services provided by GLS via GLS-ONE – in particular, the options of producing parcel
labels yourself and handing in the parcel at a GLS ParcelShop for forward conveyance and
paying online – do not constitute binding offers. An enforceable contract entailing a payment
obligation only comes into effect following completion of the following steps. GLS will always
confirm that such a contract has come into effect by means of a separate email.
1.1 Select “Send parcel”
1.2 Confirm the details you have entered by clicking on “Add to basket”
1.3 Select your payment method and enter your PayPal or credit card details
1.4 Submit the declaration of consent in respect of the validity of the Special Terms and Conditions
of GLS and consent to the use of data described in the GLS Privacy Policy
1.5 Acknowledge the cancellation notice and this pre-contractual information and submit the
declaration of consent for GLS to begin providing services prior to the expiry of the
cancellation period
1.6 By clicking on “Buy now”, you are submitting a legally binding offer
1.7 This offer will be accepted by GLS; in the event of an order that entails a payment obligation,
the order will be accepted once the payment transaction has been successfully completed.
Configuring parcel
1.1.1 Select the recipient country
1.1.2 Enter the parcel dimensions
1.1.3 Enter the sender’s details
1.1.4 Enter the recipient’s details (can also be
transferred from your address book)
1.1.5 Select any optional services
2. The text of the contract will not be saved by GLS.
3. Prior to clicking on “Buy now”, you can correct any errors made when entering the shipping
details by amending the relevant information within your shopping basket. Within your
shopping basket, you have the option of changing individual shipping details by clicking on
“Change”. By clicking on “Delete”, you can remove individual parcels and orders from your
shopping basket.
4. Orders can be placed and contracts concluded in German.
5. For the key features of the GLS services offered, please consult the descriptions in the
shopping basket, especially with regard to parcel sizes and payment methods. Please note that
this does not constitute a quality guarantee, but serves merely to satisfy the pre-contractual
information obligations on the part of GLS.
6. For details of GLS, please consult our legal notice. If you have any questions or complaints,
please contact our call centre on +43 059876 6000.
7. The prices quoted by GLS are final prices and include all taxes.
8. The contractually agreed charge is payable upon order. Delivery within Austria of parcels which
arrive at the accepting depot (dispatch depot) until 5.00 p.m. is generally made within 24 hours
(standard time of delivery) on working days except Saturdays free to the door of the consignee.
Compliance with this standard time of delivery is neither warranted nor guaranteed. For the
standard delivery period for shipments outside Austria, please consult our shipping planner at
[https://gls-group.eu/AT/en/occasional-shipment/shipping-calculator].
In individual cases, however, delivery may be delayed for various reasons, such as
traffic-related issues on our main legs.
9. GLS accepts the following payment methods: credit card (Mastercard and Visa) and PayPal.
10. If you conclude this agreement as a consumer, you have the following right of cancellation.
Please note that this right of cancellation expires as soon as GLS has delivered the parcel
submitted by you to the recipient if shipping began prior to the expiry of the cancellation
period with your express consent and GLS informed you at the time that you would forfeit your
cancellation right in this instance.
