The Enea Bydgoszcz Triathlon is a sporting event that has grown to become a Polish triathlon festival, eagerly awaited by thousands of people! Every year, it attracts hundreds of participants – both amateurs and professionals – as well as crowds of people who want to witness the event first-hand and cheer on the competitors as they battle to reach the finish line. Water, bikes and kilometres of road – the distance of several dozen kilometres that must be covered to reach the finish line is a challenge similar to that faced every day by courier company staff as they deliver parcels to people and organisations.

Poland Business Run – helping at just the right pace

The Poland Business Run is another important stop on our map. As a sponsor and partner of the Poland Business Run charity business run, GLS has been supporting this event for years, delivering plenty of starter packs to teams across the country. The noble aim of the Poland Business Run is to help people with mobility impairments, as well as those who have undergone a mastectomy and those with other serious health conditions.

This charity business run, organised as a relay race, is not just about results and the distance covered; above all, it provides tangible support to those in need, transforming their lives by offering practical help with the purchase of necessary prosthetics or funding for rehabilitation, which restores their ability to function effectively in everyday life. We are not alone in our efforts, as Enea has also been supporting the initiative for years, not only as sponsors but also as active participants in the event.

That is why, in the case of the Poland Business Run, the slogan ‘every route has its finish line’ takes on an even deeper meaning, as it refers not only to the physical finish line for the runners, but above all brings the beneficiaries of the project closer to their own finish line – which is a return to fitness and regaining independence in their daily lives.

When we say ‘every journey has its finish line’, we are referring to the completion of challenges both big and small: from sporting victories to the seemingly ordinary delivery of a parcel. Focusing on the goal – whether it’s crossing the finish line after the gruelling Enea Bydgoszcz Triathlon, the Poland Business Run charity relay, or the daily challenges of delivering parcels to recipients – provides motivation and strength.

This year, the Poland Business Run is celebrating its 15th anniversary, whilst the triathlon festival for amateurs and professional athletes has been taking place since 2015. The fact that they are held regularly proves that both these initiatives are worthwhile!
