GLS Group received the EcoVadis Silver Medal in 2025 with a score of 71/100, placing us within the top 15% of companies assessed globally. EcoVadis evaluates sustainability performance across Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement. The assessment is updated annually. 

Comprehensive quality assurance at GLS Spain includes precisely defined work processes, quality guidelines with inspection routines and regular audits. Quality indicators are managed on a continuous basis. GLS Spain guarantees, verifies and improves quality with a quality management system throughout its own network. With its quality management system, GLS Spain complies with internationally recognised high standards according to DIN ISO 9001:2015.

GLS Spain holds ISO 14001:2015 certification for its environmental management system, certified by DEKRA. This certification confirms that GLS Spain has established and maintains an environmental management system in accordance with the requirements of the standard. Compliance was verified through audit report no. A20011337. The current certificate was issued in September 2023 and is valid until September 2026, with annual surveillance audits.

GLS has obtained the GDP (Good Distribution Practice) compliance certification. The GDP guidelines are mandatory for the wholesale of pharmaceutical products in the EU. Therefore, GLS Spain meets the strict requirements for the safe, hygienic and product-appropriate transport of non-temperature-controlled human medicines.

The Non-Financial Information Statement of GLS Spain for fiscal year 2025-26 is certified by AENOR, confirming that it has been prepared in accordance with GRI reporting standards. It provides a comprehensive view of the organization’s most significant impacts on the economy, the environment, and people, including impacts affecting human rights, and details how these are managed.
